The 12th grade semester long expedition, Our Place by The Sea, focused on coastal sustainability engages students as environmental leaders through detailed data collection and analysis. All are invited to the culminating student presentations of scientific research modeled after the practices of the professional community.
This event will include individual student research presentations with interactive dialogue. We have also partnered with RI businesses, nonprofits, and governmental organizations, offering opportunities for solutions-based networking for our environmental community. Some of these organizations include: GZA Engineering, RI DEM, EPA, the Nature Conservancy, Audubon, Save the Bay, Various Trade Unions, URI GSO, Workforce Development and many more.
